Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Ghana was named Oil and Gas Company of the Year at the Ghana Oil and Gas Awards (GOGA).
The team also received the Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) prize. Both awards were in the upstream sector of Ghana’s Oil and Gas industry.
The ceremony was held in early November at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel, Accra. The GOGA awards is an annual event that recognizes achievements by local and international companies involved in Ghana’s oil and gas sector and rewards those that have played a defining role in moving the industry forward.
The Oil and Gas Company of the Year award was received on merit for the company’s dedication to delivering quality on-time and on-budget to its customers in these challenging times.
The Excellence in CSR award was received due to the company’s dedication to the sustainability goals of supporting communities and advancing gender diversity, as well as its role in supporting the COVID-19 pandemic in Ghana.
The Ghana Oil and Gas Awards remains the largest industry initiative dedicated to championing industry excellence and is endorsed by the Ministry of Energy, in partnership with the National Petroleum Authority and Ghana Oil and Gas Service Providers Association. The awards initiative showcases trends in the industry, companies’ activities and achievements in the past year and rewards excellence in local content, stewardship, health and safety, corporate social responsibility and more.
